A professional musician for the past 50 years with three CDs of acoustic guitar music, three books, a YouTube video, and an online instructional video, Mr. Brown turned to his other passions which are philosophy and politics to weigh in on the current climate that he sees as toxic and filled with hate and racism the likes of which he hasn't seen since the 60's, happening within the United States today. How interesting that all of this is taking place after having elected the first minority president.
Born and raised in Chicago, Mr. Brown has had the good fortune of having travelled around the world and lived in the north and the south, as well as on both coasts. He's hitch-hiked across the United States on two occasions. Once from San Jose to Virginia, and a second time up the west coast into Canada where he hopped a freight train headed east. That train trip took him through some of the most spectacular sceanery in North America that nobody gets to see unless you happen to be on a freight train. Waking up in the morning to the sight of snow capped mountains that resembled the Alps he found himself in Banf National Park. As the train slowed down going through the town of Banf he decided, "this is where I get off" and managed to pick up a ride toward Chicago and eventually ending up once again in Falls Church Virginia. "You could do that back then". "I wouldn't recommend it today".
Today he performs concerts, records CD's, and writes on Political Philosophy. After engaging in political debates on countless political internet forums, he's come to the conclusion that as long as there are conservatives there will always be subjects to make fun of. They are a never-ending source of buffoonery.
