Warner Francis Davis

Warner Davis was born in Lexington, Kentucky. He grew up in the Belgian Congo (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo), the son of Methodist missionaries.

His boyhood, while interspersed with furloughs to the U.S., was mostly spent in Africa. He counts himself fortunate for the vocational choice his parents made, the hardships of that life notwithstanding. Growing up in an environment where adults lived their lives in response to a calling, there stirred within him the beginning of an awareness that would eventually lead him to commit himself to the meaningful work of the pastorate.

An extensive education stands him in good stead. Graduating from Asbury College with a Bachelor of Arts, he progressed to a Masters of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary. Then years later, he earned a Doctor of Ministry at Columbia Theological Seminary.

He has served churches in Kentucky, Florida, New York, and Tennessee. Today, he and his wife, Tingting, enjoy retirement in Collierville, Tennessee.
