Dr. Saurabh Mani Tripathi received the B.Tech. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from G.L.A. Institute of Technology and Management, Mathura, India, the M.Tech. degree in electrical engineering with specialization in power electronics and drives from M.M.M. Engineering College, Gorakhpur, India, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, India. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in electrical engineering with the Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, India. He was a recipient of the prestigious “IEI Young Engineers Award (2018–2019)” presented by The Institution of Engineers, India. He was also a recipient of the “Best Teachers Award 2020” presented by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. He achieved HIL Specialist Certification from Typhoon HIL Inc., Switzerland. At the age of 23 years, he has authored his first book titled A Course in Modern Control Systems (Laxmi Publications, New Delhi). Subsequently, he has authored two other books in the domain of electrical engineering namely Analysis of Basic Systems (Laxmi Publications, New Delhi) and Modern Control Systems: An Introduction (Jones & Bartlett Learning, USA). He served as an Editor for the book titled Energy Conversion Systems: An Overview (Nova Science Publisher, USA). He has published several research papers in reputed international journals and various national/international conferences. He is serving as a reviewer for various research journals of international repute. His research interests include renewable energy systems, electrical drives, real-time simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. He is also an Advisory Board Member (Engineering) of Heliyon (A Cell Press journal). He is a member of several professional societies, such as Institution of Engineers (India), International Association of Engineers, and World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education.
