Also, I wanted to leave a legacy for my 3 kids and 6 granddaughters. "Red Jacket and Yellow Squash" is a compilation of miracles from my life and the lives of several of my friends. Already the book has made the front page of the monthly magazine, "Red Oak Now", nominated for Christian Book of the Year, and I was interviewed on Christian radio in Dallas,Texas. The Bible says we can overcome by the "blood of the Lamb" (believing Jesus arose from the dead as our living Savior) and our testimonies.
