Rose Maria McCarthy Anding

"The day my name appeared on the front page of the WASHINGTON POST, my nightmare began…"

This book is Rose’s life story about living with infidelity, domestic violence, the fast life of drugs and sex, and of her 25 years of addiction to cocaine until she was in her late 60s. Then she attended a spirit-based treatment center where she learned that God forgave her for all her sins, and that He’d guide her the rest of her life.

Today Rose is a very visible Minister in her community and surrounding area, counseling drug users, and is an anointed inspirational speaker for seminars/workshops, keynotes and other talks to be given at schools, women’s day programs, substance abuse centers, and book clubs, as well as for businesses and organizations. Her subjects are different aspects of addiction and recovery–and about forgiveness, trust, etc.

Her inspirational seminars on “How to fall in love with Jesus” as well as speeches to schools, churches and organizations and diverse groups on a sampling of subjects like: Obedience; Knowing who you are and whose you are; Finding your purpose; Discipline-Disrespectful Attitude; Damages of straying from Godly Principle; Drug abuse prevention; Awareness of Sexually-transmitted Diseases; Helping others to avoid the pitfalls of drugs and other addictions; How not to cave in to Peer Pressure: the damages and recovering process of addictions; Forgiveness, Regain the trust of other–and rewriting your resume after the addictions. Living in Abusive Marriage and Life and Death in power of tongue.

The most exciting outcome of Rose’s former lifestyle is a new project: A facility called the Rose House where those who are trapped within the web of addictions can again live the life that God created them to have. Rose House is a three-month 24-hour day program concentrating on the word of truth, based on Biblical principles. They also hold weekly meetings and teach classes to those who desire to be free from substance abuse.

As a business consultants, Anding shares 1) How to get started in business in “Stepping Into Your Vision; and 2) How to incorporate Godly principles in your business. She also writes proposals and grants, sets up legal entities for profit and non-profit, as well as provides materials to help others set up substance abuse centers.
