Short Biography of Paul J. Bucknell

With experience in international ministry and instruction, combined with insight from God’s Word, Paul has developed a large collection of practical books on the Christian life, the Bible, discipleship, marriage, parenting, anxiety, and Godly living.

Paul’s love for God's Word was born when he was saved as a young teen, but it wasn't until he utilized inductive Bible study methods during college that God's Word began to transform his life. While in pursuit of an engineering degree, the Lord called him into full-time ministry.

Due to a troubled childhood, Paul was quickly able to put into practice the principles he had gleaned from his studies and learned firsthand how to understand and gain strength from God in His Word. After serving in international ministry in the 80s and pastoring in the 90s, the Lord gave Paul the vision for Biblical Foundations for Freedom in 2000. Paul’s burden– to release God's truth into the lives of others– has remained the same through the years, but through the same years, he has been able to address that burden in different ways.

Paul and his wife Linda have been married for over 40 years, and have eight children (yes - all ours!) and eight grandchildren.
