I have been reading fiction and non-fiction books related to military for some time and I am an avid hunter with all weapons. As such, since I had an affinity towards Greek mythology and Roman history, it made sense to blend some current military tactics, hunting related flavor, and history into one book which is action packed with adventure. There is a spike of action up front, it slows down for a chapter or two to explain the characters and then it is non-stop action from there forward. Extensive research around the Trojan War and Iliad were done to ensure a large amount of the information is factual but of course with modern warriors and weapons added in, it becomes a nice flavor to read. I hope you enjoy reading the book as much as I enjoyed writing it. It is actually the second book I have written but the first I published. The previous book was with the same team but set in the jungles of Columbia fighting drug lords. I guess if this book takes off, I can then reintroduce the first book as a sequel since the characters are known. One specific Character in the book is named Tonto because he brings out the animalistic hunter and tracker needed for a superstar type character which remains grounded in realism. If you like war and action, this is it. Enjoy.
