Sagar Nigwekar MD

I am a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician presently working at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard University affiliate hospitals). I graduated from the University of Mumbai, India and subsequently completed my post-graduate training at the Rochester General Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. I was a Chief Medical Resident at Rochester General Hospital in 2005. Since then I have been teaching medical students and resident physicians at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and now also at the Harvard University. I conduct translational and clinical research in the areas of hypertension and kidney diseases.
