Amy M. Wall describes herself as part science geek, part money geek and part income tax geek. She graduated from Harvey Mudd College of Science and Engineering with a B.S. in Chemistry, a second major in Economics, and a minor in English literature. She then went on to earn her MBA and then her Enrolled Agent certificate, permitting her to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Bizarrely, she loves doing tax work, though she's been told there's a support group for that. "There's this alternate reality called Tax World," she says. "It looks a little like our own earth, but logic holds no sway."
When not doing income taxes, Amy spends time in another alternate reality: Jewish mysticism and Tarot. What's the connection? "Complex systems," she says. "I'm fascinated by complex systems."
