Jeff Wright

Jeff is serving his second new church start, Heart of the Rockies Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fort Collins, Colorado (www.heartoftherockies.org). A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, his passions include leading alternative tours to Israel and Palestine (www.footsepsofJesustour.org) and preaching/teaching/embracing the community of God coming on earth as it is in heaven.

Tour of Life grew out of his experience of leading the usual baptism/confirmation class where everyone sits around a table eating potato chips and talking about the kingdom of God. Jeff found himself more bored than the kids. So he created the tour which starts at a birthing center where the group explores what it means to be born anew. Time in a school classroom, on a mission project, walking a labyrinth, eating lunch around the communion table and a visit to a local funeral home, among other tour destinations, provide opportunities to make connections between the Christian faith and everyday life.
