Jude Bradley is a writer, editor and paranormalist with more than 40 years experience in publishing. Her first job out of high school was as a reporter for a local newspaper in central Massachusetts, and she continued her creative career path as a journalist, TV and theater critic, columnist and publisher.
In the late 1980s, she launched an arts and education magazine and has been instrumental in promoting local artists within the community. Later, she worked as a Managing Editor on national magazines.
A film and television history enthusiast, she spent six years at Variety where she worked as an editor, designer and writer. She has also written for Time-Life/HBO, LA Weekly, The Daily Pilot news syndicate and The Bakersfield Californian.
For ten years, she taught creative writing locally for city and county programs in the greater Los Angeles County area, as well as developed writing workshops which included: screenwriting, character development, dialogue studies, poetry, and television and film history among others.
In addition, Jude developed a program on Effective Journaling that guides participants to use the journaling process as a tool to self-discovery and life management. Jude combined her spiritual interests with her writing workshops with "Writing Your Spiritual Truth," a unique discussion-format seminar that helps participants explore the magical connection between creativity and spirituality. In 2014, Jude returned to her roots in the Greater Boston area where she's now fronting the popular adult education workshop, "Spirits, Specters and Shadows."
She also produced and served as a panelist for, "Enlighten Up: Transcending Fear," a limited-release DVD for The Gaia Foundation, Inc.
In 2010, she partnered with author, Chere Dastugue Coen on their metaphysical book, "Magic's in the Bag," from Llewellyn Worldwide. The book has been out of print for nearly a year, but now, it is available from the authors as an downloadable eBook through Amazon and other sites.
Jude is always working on short stories, and has two novels in the pipeline. Jude's experimental fiction, "The Paper House," appeared in the summer, 2011 issue of Prime Mincer Literary Journal and her screenplay, "Inspected by No. 22," has been optioned in Australia.
Her current book project, "Dinner with Ghosts," explores the spiritual intimacy of our relationship with food.
