Susan Traugh loves to write for kids, their parents and their teachers. The mother of three special needs teens, Susan has a special love for "special kids."
"The Edge of Brilliance" is her debut novel in which fifteen-year-old Amy Miles must face the demons of her mental illness to find the true hero within herself.
Susan's "Mother Goose Brain Boost," written with her husband Steven, uses the latest in brain research combined with music and movement to teach basic skills and won Learning Magazine's Teacher's Choice Award. Her books cover a wide range of topics with titles including "Voices of American History," "Fun Phonics," and her latest curriculum for high school students transitioning into adult life titled "Transition 2 Life," and "Daily Living Skills." Both series are available through her website: susantraugh.com.
Susan also loves to talk about her life and loves in essay form. Learn about the time it rained in her house, or her love story with Steven. Her works can be found on her website www.susantraugh.com. When she's not writing, Susan can be found out in her garden, walking along San Diego's beautiful beaches with her husband and kids or homeschooling her teenagers.
Susan would love to hear from you...writing can be a lonely business.
