Kelly Valen

Kelly Valen earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, where she was Executive Editor of the Law Review. A daughter, sister, wife, and mother of four (three daughters), she practiced with an international law firm in San Francisco for more than a decade. Her writings have appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, Marie Claire, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, The Christian Science Monitor, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Huffington Post, and other publications. She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
