Robert LaRochelle

Robert LaRochelle is an ordained clergyperson, a pastor in Connecticut and a certified school counselor. His latest book A HOME UNITED: STRATEGIES FOR COUPLES WITH DIFFERENT BELIEFS will be released in June 2015 and will be available on Amazon. He has an extensive background as a teacher, pastor, counselor, retreat leader and coach on the interscholastic level. He holds the Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degree from Chicago Theological Seminary. His articles have been published in CONGREGATIONS magazine, SHARING THE PRACTICE, STILL SPEAKING and THE LIVING PULPIT journal. He has also written for the Hartford Faith and Values web site and Day One online. He has conducted workshops and spoken at conferences in different areas of the country.

He is currently serving in team ministry as a pastor at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Windsor, Connecticut. He is an ordained clergyperson in the United Church of Christ. He has extensive coaching background and is a former high school varsity baseball coach, leading his team to four conference championships and semi finalist berth in the 2009 Class LL Connecticut state high school baseball tournament.He has been honored by Connecticut American Legion Baseball as Connecticut High School Baseball Coach of the Year.

He has presented WEBINARS for the Center for Progressive Renewal and the Presbyterian Church USA based on his first book, PART TIME PASTOR, FULL TIME CHURCH, released by Pilgrim Press in 2010. His October 21, 2014 webinar on ecumenism is available on the Energion You Tube channel. He also hosts a conversation on Grief during the holidays on that same channel. He will host several Hangouts in the future and all will be available on the Energion channel on You Tube.

His book CROSSING THE STREET was released in May 2012 by Energion Publications. In particular, he is interested in fostering Catholic- Protestant dialogue on the local and personal levels.
