John Day Tully

John Day Tully is a Professor of History at Central Connecticut State University, where he teaches courses on American Foreign Relations, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, and modern America. In 2009 he won the Board of Trustees Teaching Award for the four universities in the Connecticut State University System. He received his Ph.D. in the history of American Foreign Relations from The Ohio State University, where he was also the founding director of the Harvey Goldberg Program for Excellence in Teaching. He was a visiting fellow at the Clinton Institute for American Studies at University College, Dublin, and the Director of Secondary Education for the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations.
