Steve Urick

I was raised a Roman Catholic, and got saved after hearing the gospel of grace preached in August, 1979, at a Billy Graham Crusade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 4 months later I began evangelism outreach to ASU (Arizona State) students. In 1980 I returned to Milwaukee and began an outreach to Roman Catholics and wrote my first gospel tract for them.

In the mid-1980s I attended Moody Bible Institute extension classes in Milwaukee and studied theology and evangelism. During that time I served as staff evangelist at Milwaukee Bible Church and began writing 75 gospel and apologetic tracts, which later were compiled into booklets (Gospel Press), and ultimately paperback books (13 so far), published through Authorhouse.

Today, I continue to work in evangelism and apologetics outreach and getting new Christians grounded in the faith, and equipped to share their faith, the greatest work any Christian can do.
