Bernie Nagy

Bernie Nagy is a professional photographer and author and illustrator of South Park, Colorado, Nature’s Paradise and Colorado’s South Park, High Country Paradise. He retired from a mail order/retail business in 2003 and moved to South Park, Colorado with his wife, Linda. In 2010 his first photo book received seven awards including Best International Travel Book and Best illustrated Regional Travel Essay book. In 2012, Bernie published South Park Colorado Nature's Paradise that also won several awards. In 2016, he published the second edition of Rocky Mountain Wildflowers Field Guide with his wife, Linda, that received four top awards. The third edition of the wildflower book was published in 2019. For 2020, Bernie has a new book, South Park, Colorado, History and Heritage. Besides book publishing, Bernie is a correspondent and photographer for Colorado newspaper and magazine publications. He is also served on the board of directors for the South Park City Museum in Fairplay, CO for ten years.
