William A. Kitch

William A. Kitch is a geotechnical engineer with over 27 year of experience in the public, private and educational sectors. He served 21 years in the US Air Force as a civil engineering officer, retiring in the grade of Lieutenant Colonel. Following his military service he directed the facilities engineering group at MACTEC Engineering and Consulting in Los Angeles, California. He is currently a professor of civil engineering at Cal Poly Pomona where he dedicates his time to developing future engineering leaders. Professor Kitch is a registered professional engineer in Colorado and California and is a graduate of the University of Illinois (BSCE & MSCE) and the University of Texas at Austin (Ph.D.)
