Dee Smith

Ms. Smith is a full-time freelance writer, starting her career after retirement as a legal and technical writer for twenty plus years. She lives in Houston, Texas. As a freelance writer, she publishes articles and stories for magazines, book compilations and anthologies. Deliver Us from Evil is her debut novel, and a sequel, Angel's Victory - A Sequel, is now available on Kindle and a soft cover book on Amazon.

Deep compassion and understanding for children of all ages, particularly abused children, guide Dee in her work as a novelist. After retirement, Dee volunteered at Child Advocates and Children's Assessment Center dealing with sexually abused children. In addition, she works tirelessly researching her themes and topics for her writing.

Her creativity is not limited to writing, but includes singing, acting, and painting, all of which she counts as blessings from God. She is a Christian and her writings focus on the power and glory of God.

Her loves are her three children and three grandchildren, traveling, singing in the church choir, and her adopted State, Texas.
