Douglas V Nufer

Doug Nufer is the son of an Air Force colonel. He was born while his family was stationed in Oslo, Norway. By the time he was seven, he'd lived in 2 countries and 4 States, which included both coasts of the Atlantic and both coasts of the continental United States. He has been married since 1987 and 5 kids that he has driven through 49 States. He's visited two dozen countries and taken his kids to six of those. Of all the places he's lived, he claims Michigan's Upper Peninsula as "home" and is proud of his "Yooper" heritage. Fortunately for him, writing is his passion, not his profession. To date, he's written 3 full-length novels, two novellas, and several short stories. He's always grateful for any feedback he receives. He's proud of the fact that his novel, "The Title of Liberty," was accepted into the Library of Congress' permanent collection, in Washington, DC.

A few years back, he discovered a passion for puzzles and has now designed over 1000 tangram puzzles that follow intriguing and often whimsical themes. He has used these puzzles in a competitive table-top game he invented, Tangram Fury, as well as dozens of tangram packs and a series of tangram puzzle books. Among his puzzle themes are those he designs for celebrities who visit Comic Cons.
