Born and raised in Kenosha, WI. Educational background: Mary D. Bradford High School, Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Marketing from Gateway Technical College, Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Master's in Liberal Studies Degree from UW-Milwaukee. I served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Organizational memberships: actively involved with St John's Lutheran Church as an usher, lector chairperson and church historian, election pollworker for the City of Kenosha, volunteer at the Kenosha Public Museum as a greeter and tour guide, Treasurer of the Kenosha County Archaeological Society, Friends of the Library Board member and an independent TV Producer with local cable access channel 14.
As a civic-minded citizen, I think that we should all try to give something back to our communities. One of my main interests is in people. I enjoy being involved and helping whenever and wherever I can. My motto is that you will never outgrow your need for people and knowledge. Life itself is a lifelong learning process. When we stop learning, we stop living. I retired from active employment, not from active enjoyment.
