Jason O'Neill

At age nine, Jason O'Neill came up with a simple product idea and before he knew it, he became a young entrepreneur with a successful business called Pencil Bugs.

Jason has been featured on local and national TV including ABC News Nightline, NBC's 1 vs 100, PBS BizKid$ and in such publications as Forbes, Scholastic magazine, Inventors Digest, Intuit, Southwest Airlines "Spirit" Magazine as well as many local newspapers, magazines, and radio shows.

Jason's story has also been included in several books by best-selling authors including "Chicken Soup for the Soul: Extraordinary Teens," "The Richest Kids in America," A Cup of Cappuccino for the Entrepreneur's Spirit: Volume II among other upcoming books.

Being an inspiration and a role model for people of all ages is a huge responsibility but one that Jason enjoys. With his first book, "Bitten by the Business Bug: Common Sense Tips for Business and Life from a Teen Entrepreneur," he hopes to inspire more people to try their ideas because as he often says, "You can't get anywhere by sitting on your ideas."
