Clara Brito

Clara Afara Brito born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1959. She moved with her parents in 1987 to the United States. She lives with her two children in New York State. Clara Brito stated in her own words when she was asked by her readers: What drove you to write "Nour"? Her answer was:" I wanted to write this story for over a decade, but for some reason I was always occupied. I was devastated by the loss of my family especially my beloved brother in 2009, that was the last straw that drove me into writing. I needed to pour out my heart and my sorrow trying so hard to cope with all the tragedies that I encountered in my life. I searched for Nour the little girl in my book,I found her hiding in a woman's heart, I set her free to go out and tell her story that has never been told before."
