Philip K.E. Geh

I am a native-born Hawaiian with an insatiable curiosity about the modern Hawaiian way of life. My novel is a kaleidescope of cultural and cross-cultural comedy...with a serious purpose. I wrote the book so that folks could have all the fun of living in Hawaii without having to move there!

It's crowded; it's expensive; and there is more than enough racial tension and political turmoil. Unresolved social problems fester from before annexation to vex current residents and politicians.

Native Hawaiians, some of them, feel the islands were stolen by foreigners. A Hawaiian sovereignty movement has been gathering momentum for decades in opposition to what native folk see as the "MacDonaldizing" of the whole island chain.

My novel details in specifics about some comic but serious issues, but it is a work of fiction...fiction based upon reality.
