Gerry Boylan

Author Gerry Boylan has come a long way from his road warrior days in the early 1970s. During his youth in the '70s, he hitchhiked more than 100,000 miles throughout the United States and Canada, collecting life-changing lessons and memories along the way.

Today, as a business professional, husband and father of four, he has learned to reflect on the spontaneity of his younger days while appreciating his adult life as a family man. His novel, Getting There, is based on his experiences on the road and depicts one man's journey reconcile two dramatically different periods of his personal life.

Gerry's next book, Gerry Tales, is a collection of true stories from the author's life that reveal the chaotic-yet-humorous aspects of growing up in a big family - then starting a family of your own. Gerry Tales will make you laugh, smile, and bring tears to your eyes as you see your own family in his stories.

Boylan currently resides with his wife in Royal Oak, Michigan and is the proud father of four children.
