James Heartfield

Writer and lecturer James Heartfield lives in Archway, in North London.

James published Unpatriotic History of the Second World War with ZER0 Books in September 2012. In 2011 he published The Aborigines' Protection Society, 1836-1909 with Hurst and Columbia University.

James wrote The Death of the Subject Explained (2002), Let's Build! Why we need five million new homes in the next ten years (2005) The Creativity Gap (2005) and Green Capitalism (2008).

James has been a lifelong campaigner against militarism and poverty, and for civil liberties.

James completed his doctorate at the University of Westminster's Centre for the Study of Democracy in 2010, and teaches at Queen Mary's University of London
