D. Nicholas Overall

Author's Qualifications

The author, Nicholas Overall, grew up in St. Louis, MO and earned his B.S. Degree in Metallurgical & Nuclear Engineering at the Mo. University of Science & Technology. After graduation, he worked in several manufacturing industries for over 40 years while also conducting personal research in the fields of astronomy, astrophysics, geology and religions to explore the existence and character of faiths and their supreme, non-human, spiritual beings that could initiate and influence the development of all matter and ultimately create complex life forms on Earth. In order to fulfill a personal need to better understand the two opposing explanations of human existence, the author decided to further investigate the relationships between science and religion that could be logical as well as complementary. His efforts resulted in organizing his research into a book, "A Logical God: Exploring a Spiritual and Physical Life", with hopes of assisting other inquiring minds to develop a better understanding of mankind's existence and our various types of worldwide religions and their social organizations.

Topics discussed in "A Logical God:Exploring a Spiritual & Physical Life"

As the name of the book suggests, the topics include some of the latest scientific data on macro creation such as the universe, planets, and various life forms that we are familiar with as well as the more complicated "invisible" objects such as subatomic particles, microscopic life forms, and electromagnetic waves and energy. Other topics include evaluating the existence and characteristics of spiritual "beings" that can effect a normal creature's actions or thoughts. Accumulations of minute energy packets planted in one's brain can influence normal matter to create forms of communications or induced movements of beings or things.

It is difficult for some people to comprehend the effects that invisible energy can have on objects so as to actually influence or even communicate with life forms. The ability for spiritual "things" to communicate with our physical brains can be possible if our minds were designed to communicate with spirits. Thus, if one believes in mobile, invisible bundles of energy, we must also seriously consider the possibility of a human's capability to also initiate the reverse, i.e., to direct personal communications to spiritual beings. Other topics discussed in "ALG" are the creation of our universe and our planet and its living creatures, the beliefs of the 5 major religions, miracles discussed in both books of the Judeo-Christian Bible, near death experiences, and the existence of supreme beings or spirits, called God or some assumed name, that are capable of interacting with and controlling all forms of matter.
