Rose Ernst

Rose Ernst is an academic editor, consultant, and coach. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington and BA from Cornell University. As a former Chair and Associate Professor of Political Science at Seattle University, Rose understands the joys and challenges of academic writing and publishing. NYU Press published her first book, The Price of Progressive Politics: The Welfare Rights Movement in an Era of Colorblind Racism, in 2010. She has published 11 articles in peer-reviewed and law journals. As a developmental editor and writing coach, she specializes in the social sciences, history, law, interdisciplinary social sciences/humanities, and research ethics.
