Nicolas Lewkowicz

Nicolas Lewkowicz has studied at Birkbeck, University of London and The University of Nottingham, where he received his PhD in History. He is the author of The German Question and the Origins of the Cold War (IPOC, 2008) and The German Question and the International Order, 1943-48 (Palgrave Macmillan, New York). These two books deal with the role of Germany in the creation of the Cold War international order and the impact of institutions and international law on the symbiosis that took place between the superpowers in the configuration of the post-World War Two international order. Nicolas Lewkowicz has authored several journal articles and makes regular appearances at European and American media outlets. His main interests are international politics, European history and current geopolitical issues. He has lectured at several British institutions, including the universities of Bristol, Birmingham and Nottingham, amongst others. Nicolas Lewkowicz has held the post of Research Professor at the University of New Mexico, in the United States, where he lectured on German history. Nicolas Lewkowicz is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He is currently a Senior Analyst at Wikistrat Inc., an international consulting company that advises corporate and government organisations on geopolitical issues.
