Ndangwa Noyoo

Ndangwa Noyoo is an author, activist and academic. He was one of the 32 University of Zambia (UNZA) students who were detained by the One Party State Dictatorship of Zambia's founding president, Kenneth Kaunda, for calling for multi-party democracy and for inspiring a country-wide rebellion against the former. Due to this, Kaunda was defeated at the polls in 1991 and rejected by the Zambian people. Ndangwa Noyoo holds a Ph.D from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa; an M.phil from the University of Cambridge and a BSW from the University of Zambia.
