Gail Gibson was born on the sunny shores of Perth, Western Australia. From a young age, she became an avid reader. Gail wrote her first book, 'Paula the Platypus', in 1979, and her story received a Highly Commended award in a local children's book writing competition. Gail's love of the written word has been a thread throughout her life. A avid reader of many genres, Gail makes time daily to step into her favourite pastime.
In 2005, Gail took a leap of faith from her corporate career, to embark on a personal journey of discovery, to run her own business. Writing was at the heart of her first business, True Expressions, which offered copywriting, communication training, and coaching for small business owners. Networking became Gail's marketing tool of choice, as she grew her business and connections. This led her to write her first book, 'Making Connections: How to Network Effectively to Build Better Business Relationships', in 2009.
Following a rebrand in 2014, Gail launched Gaisha Consultancy Ltd, through which she delivers her performance and leadership coaching programs, and inspirational presentations at events around the world. During the Covid pandemic Gail co-authored her second and third titles, The Rise of SEE-19 Leadership: See Beyond and Become the Leader You Are Born to Be (2021), and The Working Women's Guide to Menopause: When the Heat is On. Don't Sweat It! (2021)
Inspired by her coaching experiences, Gail writes a regular blog and monthly newsletter, sharing her musings and experience with her growing global audience.
