Carol Ann Wilson

After almost forty years as an educator--teacher, high school principal, assistant superintendent, university instructor/visiting professor, school-university partnership director, and consultant--Carol Ann Wilson turned her attention to writing. Her first book STILL POINT OF THE TURNING WORLD: THE LIFE OF GIA-FU FENG, won ForeWord Review's Book of the Year Award for biography and was a finalist for the Indie 2010 New Generation Award in nonfiction and Colorado Authors' League Top Hand Award in nonfiction. BECAUSE WE WANTED TO: TWO WOMEN, A DREAM, AND A RANCH CALLED SINGING ACRES was finalist for Foreword Review's Indie Fab Finalist Book of the Year in Women's Studies, and Colorado Authors' League creative nonfiction award.
