Randy J Schum

Randy J. Schum (b.1953) was raised in upstate New York and moved to Orlando, FL in 1981 to work as an engineer at a Fortune 500 Company. Although, while devoting his workweek to engineering activities, he continued to raise his family and pursue his love for writing, art, and music.

Randy is a poet, musician, writer, and artist who has a deep passion to use his talents to inspire and encourage others. His practical, down-to-earth writing style motivates people to make wise decisions that result in a meaningful and prosperous life. He moved back to upstate New York in 2010. Randy and his wife of fifty one years, Ruth, are the parents of three daughters, five granddaughters and three grandsons. For inspiration and relaxation, Randy enjoys writing, listening to early classical music, playing his guitar and lute, and creating artistic calligraphy.
