A.C. Noia was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut during an indeterminate part of the mid 1970's. As a child of two avid music and film buffs, he spent his formative years steeped in a heavy exposure to movies and music combined with the 80's pop-culture of his youth. This molded him into the professional appreciator his is today (to borrow from Nick Hornby's Rob Flemming).
Upon enduring his 18th winter of frozen toes and shovelling driveways he left the north for the south and moved to Tampa, Florida to attend college. He fell in love with the city and has remained a Tampanian ever since.
After obtaining a B.A. in Writing from the University of Tampa, he has since contributed feature articles to local periodicals such as City Illuminated and The Link, and numerous websites and eZines such as CitySearch.com and the now defunct LegionStudios.com. He also served a brief stint for City Style Magazine as The Answer Man, a Straight Dope-esque question and answer column.
Cover Stories represents A.C. Noia's first foray into published fiction. He is incredibly honored to have been included in this amazing collection of euphiction and is looking forward to Cover Stories Part Deux.
He currently resides in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area of Tampa Bay with his Yellow Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, a lanai full of plants and a rather large collection of movies, music, books and video games that he sometimes refers to as his "precious." A self proclaimed media junkie and admitted beer and wine snob, his favorite pastimes are spending time with his family and friends, watching the New York Yankees dominate the sport of baseball, and cereal and cartoons on a Saturday morning after a long Friday night of heavy drinking…
On (very) rare occasions he will discuss his thoughts about said media on his blog which can be found at:
