Marlene Jones

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Marlene immigrated to Ontario, Canada at age ten.

She had degrees in Psychology and Education from York University and University of Windsor.

An accomplished singer, songwriter and voice trainer, Marlene has never been able to resist the allure of storytelling and self expression through written word and music. She began writing stories, plays, poetry and songs at the tender age of eight.

She enjoys interacting with people, listening to their life stories, "the forever student", always learning and sharing. She is currently working as an elementary school teacher, recording a Jazz/Gospel album, writing her second novel and resides in Brampton, ON with her three children.
