Yinglan Tan

A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Global Agenda Council Member for Fostering Entrepreneurship & Kauffman Fellow, Tan Yinglan is Venture Partner at Sequoia Capital India where he started the Singapore office for Sequoia Capital and manage investments. Prior to Sequoia, he had overseen the $360 million fund for innovation and enterprise at the Prime Minster's Office of Singapore where he managed investments in high growth technology ventures and venture funds. He was the first director of 3i Venturelab China, a joint-venture between private equity firm 3i (LSE:III) and INSEAD, one of the world's leading business schools.

Educated at Harvard, Stanford and Carnegie Mellon, Yinglan is an Adjunct Professor at INSEAD and Assistant Professor at Nanyang Business School.
