Binneh Minteh is a former Gambia National Army First Lieutenant. He attended Turkish Land Forces Command School in Istanbul(1991), and the Turkish Gendarmerie Officers School in Ankara (1991-1992) He was commanding officer of The Gambia National Gendarmerie Training School(1992-1994), The Gambia National Army Motor Transport Division,and Second In Command, 3rd Infantry Battalion, Gambia National Army(1994).
Mr.Minteh immigrated to the United States as a Refugee. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems Management(2006), and a Master of Science Degree, Global Affairs(2008),respectively from New York University. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate of Global Affairs at Rutgers University, New Jersey.
His main research interests are International Security -Peace building, Conflict Assessment and Resolution, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, Drugs and Human Trafficking, Transnational Terrorism, Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence, Small State Foreign Policy, Development, and Democratic Transformations.
