Donna K. Hammaker

Donna K. Hammaker, a health care attorney, currently holds adjunct faculty appointments at Immaculata University and Penn State Great Valley in their M.B.A. program in Biotechnology and Health Industry Management. Hammaker has served on the graduate faculties at Widener University’s Graduate School of Business Administration, Saint Joseph's University’s M.B.A. Program in Pharmaceutical Marketing, and Temple University’s School of Dentistry. She earned graduate degrees from Temple University School of Law and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed post-doctoral studies at the Hebrew University Faculty of Law and the London School of Economics. Before entering academia, Hammaker was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Hammaker, a former midwife, was president and chief executive officer of Collegiate Health Care, the nation’s first inter-university managed care organization.
