Martin Howard

Growing up baking with his mother and babysitting the neighborhood kids, it was only a matter of time before a storybook/cookbook would come to be. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Martin has led the pastry kitchens of many of NYC's best restaurants including the world famous Rainbow Room atop 30 Rock. Among his many awards, he was named one of the top ten pastry chefs in america two years in a row by Chocolatier and Pastry Art and Design Magazines.

He can be seen on the Food Network Challenge series in five different competitions including the cupcake episode for which he won for best taste. Martin has appeared on many morning TV shows doing demos and spreading the love of baking. Be watching for more this fall when Tina Cocolina hits shelves, bringing our little cupcake queen to confection cravers everywhere!
