Maxine Taylor

Maxine Taylor is a true pioneer in the field of astrology. She began her astrological studies in 1966. In 1968, she became not only Georgia’s first licensed astrologer, but America’s first licensed astrologer as well. In 1969, she had a bill introduced into the Georgia General Assembly to legalize astrology in Atlanta. In 1970, the bill passed and was signed into law by the governor.

Maxine continued to make history by spearheading the establishment of the Atlanta Board of Astrology Examiners. In 1979, she discovered how to read our early childhood programming in our birth charts. She learned how to release these messages, and developed her Take Back Your Life Method. In 2003, she was ordained as a non-denominational minister and developed Star Matrix, her own healing technique.

Maxine was CNN’s on-air astrologer for several years and appeared as a guest on The Larry King Show. Maxine and her predictions have been broadcast on CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC, as well as national and international radio and TV. She has been featured and profiled in publications across the country and around the world.

Maxine is a published author, internationally-known speaker and teacher, and a co-founder of the Atlanta Board of Astrology Examiners and the Metropolitan Atlanta Astrological Society. She is the author of several astrology reports for Kepler Software, and serves as Vice President of the American Federation of Astrologers.
