I’m Lynne Coleman. One of the country's leading fashion experts specialising in Scottish textiles. I have worked with brands such as Burberry, Chanel, Mulberry, Liberty of London and Harvey Nichols, while designing my own cashmere line which sold across House of Fraser and outlets in Europe and America. I also reside over the world’s only dedicated hand-crafted tartan mill as brand guardian.

This was in tandem with my career as a fashion writer and style columnist at the Edinburgh News, and in-house stylist for Scotland on Sunday. You can frequently find me at the BBC, be it BBC Breakfast, 5 Live, Radio 4 or Radio Scotland. Or catch me on STV discussing luxury textiles as their style expert. I also contribute to TalkRADIO’s Independent Republic of Mike Graham. I have previously published three fashion books with Luath Press: A Girl’s Guide to Vintage (2010), Cashmere a guide to Scottish luxury (2016) and The Fashion Annual (2018).
