Bill Watson writes books about history for people who wish they'd been there when it was happening. He also writes books helping people make history happen again, and sometimes he publishes books from the past, written by others, that people think help them get there. He's also written one murder mystery set on the Jersey Shore, and has another in the works.
Watson is delighted AMAZON has signed him up and looks forward to working with them for the books already written -- they are in the pipeline and coming out as fast as they can be reformatted -- and the many books still in his head impatiently tryng to get out.
Watson was a career newspaper journalist until emancipation in 2010 and is now a career writer. He has more words in print than Stephen King. Unfortunately, they are mostly in newspapers rather than books. This will change.
Watson lives in a rhododendron thicket outside Stroudsburg, Pa., with his wife, his youngest son, three big rowdy dogs (Aiden, Devin, Chachi), three happy cats (Chienne, Niko, Midget) and an occasional wandering 300-pound black bear who is called anything she wants to be called on any given day. He enjoys Civil War living history, and is available for presentations at schools for "the life of the common soldier." He also enjoys watching Norm Abram, fixing things, and answering email about his books. He also builds an occasional boat.
