Jay Weinroth

Jay Weinroth lives with his wife Lucia in the Amish country of north central Ohio. The Weinroths moved to Holmes County Ohio from Cleveland to get back to a more local style of life. Jay has a long career in university teaching and administration, first in philosophy and then in management. A recent search on Google shows more than 50 entries among his scholarly work. He chaired a department with five separate degree programs for twelve years, served on the board of Simulation Society International, and as chair saw many faculty colleagues successfully through the tenure process. When he stepped down from the responsibilities of chairing, he started writing fiction, which indeed he found to be less strange than truth as far as events in the university are concerned. True Fan is his first novel. It is a murder mystery, richly endowed with academic personalities whose types will be instantly recognized by any fellow sufferers, i.e.,university employees past and present. A second novel is done and being marketed and a third is underway.
