Steven John

Steve is from Laugharne, in west Wales. He was educated at Whitland Grammar School before serving an engineering apprenticeship at the Royal Aerospace Establishment, Aberporth. He works and lives in Shropshire.

His interest in World War One began following the discovery that his paternal great grandfather, from Laugharne, was killed whilst serving with the Australian Forces in 1916 and led to him writing his first book on the Laugharne War Memorial, entitled 'A Township in Mourning'.

He is the author of six professionally published books:
