Megan Eaves-Egenes is a travel writer, editor and dark sky specialist. She was previously Lonely Planet's North and Central Asia Destination Editor and her writing appears in National Geographic, the BBC, The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, AFAR, and others. She has written Lonely Planet guidebooks to China, South Korea, Tibet and London, and edited dozens more, as well as DK guides to China, Shanghai, Beijing, Miami and Spain. She often writes about dark skies, stargazing, astronomy, walking, train travel and nature.
