Author Charlotte Hamilton, aficionado and pioneer of Fitface facial toning exercises www.fitfacetoning.com
She was born and raised in England and immigrated to California in her twenties. There she witnessed firsthand the butchery of a major face-lift to her former partner and vowed never to have one herself. Instead, as a preventative anti-aging measure she began to look into facial toning exercises.
In 1985 she returned to England with a new baby daughter. There she wrote Manhunt - The search for Mr Right under the pseudonym Colette Sinclair. The book was an overnight success, and was serialized by not one but 2 major newspapers (The Times and the Sun). She appeared as a celebrity guest on many radio and TV talk shows (including twice on Wogan) as well as in a documentary about her life.
In 2003,her daughter was just 18 and she was involved in a horrendous near fatal accident sustaining major facial trauma with 21 fractures to her face. Her daughter survived, graduated with an honors degree and now lives in Australia.
Charlotte divides her time between the UK and Florida, USA although of late in 2012 mainly the U.K.
Charlotte is on a crusade to halt unabated growth of the 21st Century fashion of self-harm by cosmetic surgery for solely unnecessary aesthetic enhancement. She wrote Fitface to give you a gentler organic choice, the alternative to needles or knives. Beauty does not have to cost a fortune.
