Joshua Feldman, CISSP, currently works at Radian, Inc as Senior Vice President: Security Technologies. Radian is a leader in Mortgage and Real Estate services. He leads security architecture, design, engineering, and operations. In previous roles, Joshua has driven cyber operations for the US DoD, Manufacturing Security for Corning, Inc, and Ratings Security and Customer Privacy for Moody's Inc -- a capitol bond market credit ratings agency.
For the majority of Joshua's career, he worked as a Technical Director at the US DoD Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). He helped create the current standard used for assessing cyber threats and analyzing potential adversaries. During his tenure, he supported many DoD organizations including the Office of the Secretary of Defense and was a regular presenter and panel member at the Information Assurance Symposium, hosted by both DISA and NSA each year.
Joshua has also spent time as an IT Security engineer at the Department of State working within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Joshua got his start in the IT Security field when he left his position teaching science for Montgomery County Public Schools, Maryland and went to work for NFR Security Software, a start-up company that made Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS's) in the mid-late 1990's. There, he worked as both a trainer and engineer implementing IDS technologies and instructing customers how to properly configure these new appliances.
He currently resides in Philadelphia with his little dog, Jack. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys exploring the City and learning the history, quirks, and idiosyncrasies of the City of Brotherly Love.
