Gail I. Smith

Gail I. Smith is the Director and Associate Professor of a Health Information Management program at the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Smith has been a Health Information Management professional and educator for more than thirty years. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and previously served as a member of the Board of Directors. She has also served as a coding consultant for many years and authored Basic CPT/HCPCS Coding for AHIMA. Ms. Smith received her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and her master's degree in education from The College of Mt. St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.
