Ken Luber

Ken Luber was selected as one of the first fifteen Writer/ Director Fellows to inaugurate the American Film Institute after attending the prestigious Writers Workshop at the University of Iowa. He has written and directed for film, television, and theatre – and received the Inland Theatre League’s ‘Outstanding Director’ award. His screenplays and television projects have been optioned by major film and television companies. His feature film “Howzer” was shown at the US Film Festival and at the New American Director Series at the Whitney Museum in New York City. In addition to his book, "The Sun Jumpers," an adventure in starstepping through the multiverse, other books include his novel "An Angel, A Dealer, The Deal" (formerly known as “Match to the Heart”) available on Amazon.com, e-platforms, and bookstores – as well as his first book of collected poetry, “Everybody’s Shadow.” He is currently working on a new novel, “Falling from the Sky,” an action-packed story of ancestral healing. His musical, “Esperanza: the Musical of Hope,” for which he wrote the book and lyrics with music composed by Saverio Rapezzi, had its world premier in Palm Springs, CA.
