Born and educated in Illinois, Roland enlisted in the United States Air Force Security Police Career Field in April of 1985. He has written and edited numerous Security Police training manuals that have become tools for success in the United States Air Force and the Security Forces career field.
Shortly after retirement in May of 2005, Roland started a 2nd career as a Licensed Independent Anti-terrorism and Workplace Protection Consultant. "Taking it a step further," he decided to try his skills as a writer and author, to further aid in the fight against terrorism and workplace violence.
Today, as a seasoned professional with over two decades of Physical Security and Law Enforcement experience, he's seen the changes overtime, and is convinced that it is past time for Americans to take another stance. It is time to do away with the outdated and failed policies and approaches of the past, and time to move full speed ahead in a smarter direction. As underhanded criminal and terrorist tactics and techniques continue to change and challenge our way of life, so must we. As our government works continuously to find innovative ways and institute new designs to protect this nation and its people, we as a people must make our own stake and do our part in the fight against the war on terrorism and crime in this nation.
